Yeah well so after I get told to stay at my parents' due to the snowfall at home, I come home today like I was supposed to. I call into work. I leave the parents' around 10 or so. I'm almost home when my boss calls my cellphone and tells me that everyone is getting out of work early! Yippee! I don't have to go to work today.

Mom's surgery is set for April 30th. So soon. I have yucky, selfish, horrible thoughts about it.
