Well my mom got approved for the weight loss surgery. She will be going to San Diego in 3-4 months. It is horrible to say, but my mom has never been skinnier than me, and I don't know how I will handle it. I am worried about ME, probably more so than her. I feel very VERY bad about this. She says that she can't wait to do things with me like skiing and kayaking. I think it would be fun to introduce mom to those things. I am happy for her, but filled with all emotions- fear, anger,etc.
We had dinner with mom, dad, and a visiting aunt last night.
I am leaving my cell phone on more now, and left the # on the answering machine. Secretly, I wish hubby would have the surgery too.
