happy anniversary
Mother in law is all freaked out because the private investigators for J.B. family called my brother in law, who wasn't even in Sitka at the time of her murder. They interviewed the whole school (including me), but it happened the YEAR before he got there. Those people are crazy, I swear. Hubby is talking with his mom now, making her feel better. The P.D. and the private investigators don't have any idea who did it. They tried a person a few years back w/o matching DNA. The girl was found on campus property in 1996- brother in law was there in 1995 (summer). Hubby and I (boyfriend then) were at a bar that night and came home and went to bed.
Today is our anniversary. We got the "check engine" light fixed on my car- the gascap was loose at some point, but once the light comes on, it won't go off until you take it in, so even tightening the gas cap afterwards won't work. Good grief.
Tonite we're gonna pick up Thai food and rent a movie- no presents, etc. but that's all right.
