back!
We're back! Had a great time- saw my aunt and uncle, went to the casino (several, actually), visited, etc. SIL hasn't had her baby yet. Ummm...what else? Going to see a friend that I had a falling out with several years back (see entries about Shannon- April or so) This friend is the one that led me to Shannon. She's in town and we're going to dinner. Like I thought, work was a BITCH this afternoon- tons of stuff didn't get done. It seems no one gives a shit about my caseload while I'm away. Oh well.
We got a old/new assistant= it seems our other one was fired while I was out- missed work too many times and didn't call in- good grief, she'd only been working with us for a few weeks, and today, the assistant hired (our old temp) was complaining of pains and probably won't be in to work tomorrow. Just can't find help that'll stay, I guess.
So, I gotta make myself beautiful to go out to dinner. See ya!
